You found THE ONE. You wrote THE OFFER; you created Pinterest boards full of inspo for how you would Chip and Jo that kitchen after closing day. BUT the sellers didn’t accept your offer.. how do you get over missing out on THE HOUSE!
As cliche as it sounds .. it wasn’t meant to be! I know it’s hard to hear, but I promise it’s true.

So what do you do in the moment? A few things…
1. Know that you offered your highest and best. There is nothing more you could’ve done.
2. Know that there WILL be another house for you!
3. Keep looking! Many times when a buyer misses out on House #1.. the actual ONE is not far behind! You know what you’re looking for now and you won’t hesitate when it’s time to make a move.
4. You’re making smart real estate decisions. If you would’ve offered higher than you did or waived a major contingency, you might have regretted it. Now you can take what you learned and apply it to the next house!
